Release Analyst- Remote
End User Services is accountable for the delivery and support of the Society's end user computing, including laptops, physical and virtual desktops, operating systems and applications.
Working in End User Services as a Release Analyst, you'll be key to ensuring Nationwide colleague's end user devices remain in a compliant and supported state, by supporting regular updates to operating systems and business software.
You'll be involved in the entire delivery lifecycle for each release, from the initial assessment to the final deployment. Your responsibilities will include end user communications, scheduling, monitoring and support.

What you'll be doing
A typical day as a Release Analyst includes performing data analysis to develop formal rules & logic to shape and define deployment strategies, co-ordinating the evaluation of new releases, working with subject matter experts and stakeholders, designing and delivering stakeholder communications, preparing and issuing communications to end users, and using Deployment Management solutions to track device, application & user readiness.
The role may include being the primary point of contact for our core business teams to ensure the safe delivery of change to their devices.
Supporting continual improvement, you'll work individually or in a small team to deliver on-going development of our processes and controls.
You will be self-motivated, a team player, and comfortable working with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Focussed on operational delivery, you'll enjoy manipulating disparate data sources to drive decisions and possess the ability to problem-solve and find innovative solutions or workarounds to ensure our Release schedule remains on track.
