An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to work within a global insurances firms IT department which is growing at a pace . On a monthly basis you will take the lead in completing the accruals, prepayments and forecast process. You will also take the lead in ensuring transactions have been allocated to the correct workstreams, identify corrections and getting them processed. You will work closely with the finance departments and IT managers in order to help the Head of Finance for IT complete monthly close, monthly financial reporting and variance explanations for all IT expenses for the organisation. Project accounting and the ability to work at pace is required and excellent Excel skills are a must .
Assist in the preparation of increasingly complex financial and/or operational reports/analysis factoring in historical information, current trends, regulatory environments and tax consequences into analysis as needed. Present findings/recommendations , independently support moderately complex financial and operational planning, projections, and budgeting process, including data management (i.e. gathering and input of data), analysis, and reporting. Identify, recommend and execute to resolve issues as they arise. Assist in completing the forecast process, providing information on changes to the forecast for review by the Head of Finance . Assist with additional presentations for regional management, Global Speciality CIO, Global Speciality CFO .Specific experience on all IT related expenditures and reporting for an organisation would be highly desirable . CIMA or ACCA qualified is required for the role . Hybrid working in central London 2 days a week and there is an excellent bonus & benefits package on offer .
