My banking client is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join them on a 12 month initial contract.
The role is responsible for managing the Project Office for Risk & Finance Solutions. This includes managing the financials for the change investment portfolio, ensuring budgets are tracked effectively across the change programmes and advising and supporting Project Managers and Change Leads in managing their resources, budgets, purchase orders and other financial requirements. The role is also accountable for overall hygiene across the portfolio including maintaining effective delivery tracking via Planview - planning, risks & issues, dependencies and reporting. The Portfolio Manager will also support PMO within the platforms to ensure adherence to bank requirements including effective timesheet management, change risk mitigation and joiners, movers and leavers.
Candidates should have a strong Project Office background, it's not directly managing a PMO team but supporting them in the above mentioned areas. Experience with Planview and Oracle is required.
