Data Engineer - Commodities Trading - OUTSIDE IR35

Leading global commodities trading company is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work closely with quant traders setting up and delivering a data platform for automated trading.

Exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to build on existing experience gained in Front Office Trading environment who has strong technical and commercial acumen.

Paying £600-700 Outside IR35

Working closely with traders, quants etc developing trading strategies, using Machine Learning algorithms

Very long term contract potential with multiple extensions for a suitable Data Engineer with the following skills: -

- Strong Python skills, including Numpy and Pandas (ESSENTIAL)

- Front Office Trading experience (ESSENTIAL)

- Other technologies like C# and SQL would be advantageous
