SAP Release Manager

This major professional services client is looking for a SAP Release Manager who has experience of working with multiple SAAS Service Providers to ensure all new releases for their SAP S/4 HANA and associated applications are seamlessly brought in to production.

This new role can be based remotely anywhere within the UK, but you will be required to attend monthly meetings in either their London or Watford offices.

In order to secure this SAP Release Manager role you will ideally be ITIL Certified, but must have demonstrable experience of working as a Release Manager for one or more FTSE250 corporates. You will also need excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills as well as being able to demonstrate experience in many of the following:

• Managing regular releases with SaaS based products like SAP 4 HANA, Success Factors, Degreed etc.
• Experience of integrating ITSM and release process into the wider corporate processes and governance to release quality products.
• Consulting with the project/program managers, wider IT teams and suppliers to plan, execute and manage deployment of new or changed services.
• Owning all service acceptance and operational readiness criteria, ensuring it is maintained and is current
• Highlighting risks and issues relating to deployment of the new/changed services and ensuring mitigation plans are produced.
• Delivering accurate and timely reporting to the Service Management team for management consumption
• Contributing to improving the overall release and deployment process and procedures

This new SAP Release Manager role is being created to support a major technology transformation programme and you'll become part of my clients talented Service Operations capability who are accountable for delivering a range of technology services to their entire UK Firm. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the release and deployment of SAAS based application updates across their value chains, showing you have a passion for delivering best in-class service through rigorous process adherence and governance.
