Role Description:

Functional Testing:
* Develop and execute functional test cases to validate application functionality.
* Perform end-to-end testing to ensure system integration and reliability.
* Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
* Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure quality standards.
* Automate functional test cases using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
* Perform regression testing using automation io ensure stability of the application.

Collaboration and Communication:
* Work closely with Product Owners, BAs, and QA teams to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables
* Participate in code reviews, testing reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and testing practices.
* Contribute to the improvement of development and testing processes.

Java Development:
* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
* Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
* Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
* Optimize application performance and scalability.

Key Skills and Experiences
* Experience in Java, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
* Extensive experience with functional testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
* Familiarity with RESTful APls and microservices architecture.
* Good knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
* ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
