UAT Tester

• Knutsford - Onsite 2/3 days a week
• Duration: 31/12/2025
• Inside of IR35
• £260 - £280 per day

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and acceptance criteria.
* Develop and maintain UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Execute UAT test cases and document results.
* Identify, log, and track defects or issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
* Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a user perspective.
* Ensure that all testing activities are carried out in accordance with the defined test strategy and schedule.
* Provide regular updates and reports on UAT progress, issues, and risks.
* Support business users during UAT execution and provide guidance as needed.
* Validate data integrity and system functionality across integrated systems.

Key Skills and Experiences

* Proven experience in UAT or business testing roles.
* Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
* Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and a user-focused mindset.
