Solution Architect - Perm £90k - Retail Logistics/Supply Chain

A leading UK Fashion Retailer is looking to hire a Solution Architect to join the talented logistics engineering team for the re-architecting of their warehouse management, stock control and logistics.

Your focus will be to produce and own solutions to establish and improve controls around applications to ensure they're cost-effective, secure, compliant, performant and scalable.

Location: 1-2x per week to Newcastle-under-Lyme

Salary: £80,000-£90,000 + 5k bonus

Experience:

• Experience designing and delivering changes in omnichannel retail and supply chain solutions.
• In-depth knowledge and exposure to solution design for on-premise, hybrid or multi-cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience coordinating in-house and 3rd party teams (on-site and offshore)
• Understanding of IaaC such as ARM or Terraform
• Understanding of virtualisation and containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficiency in key design decisions, technical documentation, test plans, business cases and other key business deliverables
