What is the role?

Your experience in front-end and/or mobile application development will help provide an amazing and seamless user experience for customers.

You'll have knowledge of architectural patterns and best practice when it comes to designing a slick front-end and can articulate this, providing guidance and support as well as architectural governance.

You'll contribute to the future state architecture planning, providing clear intent of platform evolution and provide guide rails for engineering teams to operate efficiently through implementation.

As an experienced architect, or Lead Developer wanting to move into architecture, your role will be to ensure we have a documented baseline frontend and mobile application architectures. From this, you will create a future state and transitional architectures that will support our platform as it grows.

What skills and experience will you have?


  • Front-end development using React or similar JavaScript library
  • Awareness of front-end architectural patterns
  • Awareness of mobile application architecture
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Experience of leading a team


  • Worked in gaming or other highly regulated environment
  • Experience of architecture work
  • Thorough knowledge and/or experience of designing micro frontends

Our client offers a strong remuneration and benefits package, and the role will be working from home 3 days per week with 2 days in the central Manchester office.
