What is the role?

Due to continued growth across the business my client is looking for a Principal Platform Engineer to lead the next deployment phase of the platform architecture.

As the business expands from a domestic platform to international scope, including wider European and US territories we need someone to manage the development of the platform and the engineering team.

Here you will have ownership over your deliverables, primarily focusing on the design and implementation of the online platform and the progression of the DevOps culture and values across the teams.

What skills and experience will you have?

  • Hands on skills designing, building and developing cloud infrastructure hosted in AWS
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practise, tools and processes
  • Expert knowledge of building Infrastructure-As-Code utilising Terraform
  • Knowledge of utilising Kubernetes in a micro service architecture
  • Ability to lead teams of engineers across complex deliverables
  • Strong ability to lead strategy and design co-coordinating with other Head's of Department

Our client is offering a strong remuneration and benefits package, and the role will be working from home 3 days per week with 2 days in the central Manchester office.
