Remote - Ipswich office

£750 inside IR35

We have an urgent long-term contract for a Project Manager in the insurance industry. Our client is a multinational insurance company and is looking for an experienced Project Manager that knows the insurance sector through and through and has worked on large-scale projects.

The necessary qualifications and skills are as follows:

  • Project Management +5yrs
  • Application Development experience +5yrs
  • Deployment and Implementation (Rollout) of existing Applications
  • Financial Management & Cost control
  • Experience of working within Commercial Insurance industry
  • Experience of Application Development
  • Experience of Commercial Insurance Underwriting Systems
  • Facilitation and coordination of business/user requirements gathering experience from key stakeholders and end users

The following would be nice to have:

  • Vendor or software experience of "Sequel"
  • PM qualifications e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, or other internal training
  • ITIL qualification above Foundation level
  • Vendor/ Supplier Management
  • Waterfall development - Agile is nice to have
  • Exposure to Planview reporting tool
