Duration: 12 Months
Location: (Huntingdon) 1/2 days a week whilst current restrictions are in place. The candidate is required to travel to other locations (Shardlow and Suffolk) as and when required.
Our client is looking for a Project Co-Ordinator with a technical background. The role would be to co-ordinate a project to migrate special purpose devices (or instrument PC's) from one domain to another. The role would consist of dealing with stakeholders within the business to ensure successful migration and documentation completed for each different Device. The overall goal is to assist in the management of special purpose device migration from a legacy network to the customer's Network in a timely and professional manner. You will need to be proactive in your approach requiring you to deal with support queries and have the ability to communicate effectively with multiple areas in IT and the business and provide recommendations for technical solutions. Assist in the management of special purpose device migration from a legacy network to the customer's Network. Develop and maintain technical documentation and metrics for instrument configurations. Provide support that consistently meets or exceeds Customer expectations, gaining their trust and respect. Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs
You will have ITIL Foundations Certification / Project management certifications or equivalent in experience. Understanding of IT Networking and Infrastructure. Ability to act as an assistant Project Manager and drive instrument configuration work to delivery, on a global basis. Some coding and/or support experience; Able to work independently and in small to medium size teams. Ability to communicate to effectively with multiple areas in IT and the business and provide recommendations for technical solutions
You may have Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent in experience. Must have experience working in lab environment including software life cycle and setup/troubleshooting for laboratory instruments.
