IDAM and Application Support Analyst

Our client are looking for an Identity and Access Management Application Support Analyst to join them on a contract basis.

This role within the IDAM team will play a significant role in ensuring the client remains SOX compliant.

IDAM and Application Support Analyst is responsible for -

  • Ensuring IAM processes comply with all SOX compliance requirements.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Group IT and business divisions to help ensure that user access is appropriate as employees and contractors join, move within or leave the organisation.
  • Conducting regular recertification reviews for user access to ensure that physical and electronic access requirements are up to date for all users.
  • Working with application owners and business divisions to map business roles to IT entitlements ensuring that the appropriate access rights are given to individual users based on business roles.
  • Managing the user account authentication and password management processes as outlined in the organisations policies and standards.
  • Manage the user account authentication and password management processes as outlined in the organisations policies and standards to help ensure only the account owners are able to access these.
  • Monitor privileged accounts on an ongoing basis and manage provisioning and de-provisioning of privileged access based on the principle that only those that require these enhanced accounts have them for a limited time period to help ensure data breaches are minimised.
  • Oversee vendors responsible for providing IAM tools and services and escalate any process deficiencies and remediation actions required to the Service Delivery Manager to help ensure providers meet contractually defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) required to manage the organizations risk.
  • Report IAM related risks as identified during day-to-day activities and support the identification of remediation actions to help manage these risks in a timely and effective manner
  • Monitoring PAM accounts on an ongoing basis ensuring that only those that require these enhanced accounts have them for the required time period to maintain IAM security posture.
  • Overseeing vendors responsible for providing IAM tools and services. Escalating any process deficiencies and remediation actions required to the Service Delivery Manager to ensure providers meet contractually defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) required to manage the organisations risk.
  • Reporting IAM related risks as identified and support the identification of remediation actions to help manage these.
