Senior Product Manager - Finance Transformation

Duration: 6-12 Months

Location: Remote

£600 - £700 (Inside IR35)

Senior Product Manager required to work on a large Finance Transformation Programme reporting into the Director of Product. Candidates will have a Finance or Oracle or ERP systems background (either for a vendor Oracle, SAP, Dynamics 365 or as a Finance Systems consultant) but have then made the switch to become a Product Manager.

Ideally worked on a similar multi-year transformation projects.

You will play a key role working with senior finance and pan-business stakeholders as well as engineering and delivery teams to transform aging Oracle finance systems into an enabling set of technologies, supporting an organisational need for ready access to finance data to drive decisions across all departments.

A high-level product vision exists but your job will be to further define and execute on this vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will be part of the leadership team for this project and jointly responsible for its success.

The role requires an awareness of finance systems and experience in new product development from inception through to post-launch optimisation. Must have worked on similar finance projects e.g. procurement/expenses.

You are expected to be a highly skilled communicator with proven ability to influence both multi-functional team members and stakeholders at a senior level. Managing change will be a key component of this role as the successful outcomes will rely upon meaningful change within the business units.

You're used to balancing the needs of the business against the needs of the customer. You care about the bottom line but you also care about maintaining a great user experience - and you know how to deliver on both.

You know when to employ different approaches to product management and can balance lean-style MVP experimental work with focused iteration.

You'll have knowledge of the entire product lifecycle from insights/analysis, roadmap development, launch tactics, post launch iteration.

Experience in partnering with engineering, business teams and external vendors to work collaboratively towards a shared goal.
