2nd line Engineer - Senior Support Engineer
Office working up to 5 days a week
This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to further their career in an exciting organisation. The client is a well-respected tech company. The business is going through a busy patch and this had led to them hiring another experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team.
This will be an exciting and challenging position. The customer is looking for someone with a broad set of skills, and a desire to learn more. While a large part of the role, will be Service Desk support there may be an occasional client visit.
Key responsibilities:*◦General 2nd line and desktop support and resolution of various issues.◦Supporting and deploying of Laptops and Mobile Phones to users.◦Providing hands on 1st and 2nd line support in a busy and ever changing environment◦Equipment moves◦Ensuring all infrastructure services are stable and robust◦Supporting transitional changes in the business◦Develop produce and maintain IT documents and procedures◦Office 365 Support and management◦Security and cyber security housekeeping
Experience◦Supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Mac OS◦Administrating Microsoft Active Directory◦Supporting Microsoft 365 Applications◦Supporting remote connectivity/VPN & LAN/WAN technologies◦Supporting HP hardware (Laptops and Desktops)◦Supporting Citrix & Printers/Multi-Function Devices
