Oracle Fusion Platform Manager - INSIDE IR35

A leading railway client of ours are looking for an urgent Oracle Fusion Platform Manager to join their team and make a difference.

Role Purpose

The role is responsible for the development and maintenance of the platform supporting all Finance, Procurement, HR, Learning, Recruitment and Payroll processes. This role is responsible for determining the strategic direction of the Oracle platform, ensuring product developments are evaluated and adopted where appropriate in order to maximise value and streamline business processes. The role is responsible for the overall service quality and application management of the Oracle platform. This role is responsible for bringing together deep knowledge of Oracle technology and of the company's business goals to identify challenges and opportunities for better service and set priorities for internal and external delivery teams.

Essential Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the Oracle Fusion cloud applications
  • Extensive experience of Oracle product implementation and maintenance
  • Thorough understanding of Oracle products subscription models and ability to manage compliance
  • Strategy. Ability to work within a strategic context and communicate how activities meet strategic goals. Ability to develop strategies and policies.
  • Business analysis. Ability to investigate business challenges and opportunities in existing processes and lead on developing solutions to these.
  • Development of business cases to support the adoption of new applications in the platform
  • Continual service improvement. Ability to identify process optimisation opportunities and lead on the implementation of proposed solutions without impacting on service delivery.
  • Service reporting. Ability to produce relevant reports in a standard format in an agreed timeframe.
