Network Architect - Security Cleared

Lorien have currently partnered up with a global IT service provider who are looking for a number of Security Cleared Network Architect's to work on a 3-6-month contract based in Bracknell. Due to the current climate this role will be remote based for the meantime but post covid 4/5 days in office is required.

*A national security clearance is required for this role*

Within this role you will be required to:

  • Give tangible feedback from customers and/or sales that major technical project definitions have influenced investment decisions. Regularly has technical strategies, architectures and proposals, incorporating trade-offs from the original specification, accepted by the relevant Business Approval review, without any requirement for significant proposal changes.
  • Author the design and test documents for large, complex solution developments, incorporating strategic level risks and remedies and manages a large design team to achieve documented handover criteria.

Keys Skills:

  • CISCO ACI, CISCO ISE and Firewalls.
  • Cisco
  • Cisco SDN
  • Cisco / Meraki Wireless
  • MPLS / BGP / OSPF

Desirable skills:

  • Experience working with other Government organisations
  • Previous experience of working in Agile
  • Juniper LAN Networking
  • Network Automation - Ansible Automation / Python Scripting
