Oracle Applications Support
Fixed Term Contract - 2 years
Location: Remote - occasional travel Durham
The Oracle Applications Support will be part of a larger implementation team who are integrated Oracle modules to the Cloud. Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to Oracle Applications, eBusiness Suite and HCM/ERP Cloud. You will take responsibility for assessment, tracking, monitoring and reporting on service improvement requests and responding to user enquiries as assigned by the IT Service Desk. Help with the planning and testing of Oracle Cloud quarterly releases. Ensure that all applications follow established standards and best practice regarding security and data protection. Developing required functionality in software according to agreed quality standards, specifications, and timescales.
You will have experience of Oracle relational databases and database programming using PL/SQL. Experience working in a problem resolution service desk and ideally support Oracle products. Knowledge of development of REST and SOAP API in an oracle environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients.
You may have experience in HR, Finance and Payroll applications.
