User Researcher - Remote / Manchester / Newcastle - 6 Month Contract
Our Public Sector client are currently recruiting for a User Researcher to join on a 6 month initial contract.
This role is an integral part of a team being assembled to take forward a series of recommendations identified as needing to be further developed and implemented to resolve significant and urgent issues that exist in a specific area within the clients organisation. The team will be engaging multiple stakeholders to define user centric solutions that will improve customer experiences and deliver significant organisational benefits.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:
- Planning, designing and conducting in-house User Research and usability testing sessions to support the design and development of client services
- Conducting in-house research to test new product and concept developments (including user requirements gathering and early stage concept and prototype testing, guerrilla research, and other approaches to ensuring the user need is fully understood in the service design)
- Working with Service Managers to devise appropriate research strategies to generate focused insights and to convert concepts into high quality stimulus material
- Promoting user centred design principles and best practice
