Cloud GCP Architect - Inside IR35 - Remote Start

Our client are currently looking to hire a Cloud GCP Architect, to start on a remote basis.

Spec:

Our client has a strategic intent to move its current on-premise data architecture to the Google Cloud Platform ("GCP"). This will enable them to scale and industrialise Analytics, use case delivery, and, ultimately, to simplify and rationalise its existing on-premise application landscape.

They are looking for an experienced GCP Architect. The ideal candidate will have:

1. GCP certified

2. Experience architecting GCP solutions for:

* Big data - batch/streaming/low latency processing, Hadoop, spark, hive, Terradata etc

* Integration - apis, microservices, ETL patterns

* Containerisation - Docker, Kubernetes

* Orchestration - Airflow, CtrlM

* Complex networking - routing, firewalls, etc

* Platform and application layer security

* Scaling and cost management

3. Knowledge of on-cloud technologies and how they interact with cloud environments

4. Data migration patterns
