Before I go into the finer details of what our client's looking for, let's go over what you can expect, shall we?

Alongside fantastic salaries and a considerable bonus (which was not only paid out last year despite everything going on, but even higher than expected), our client would love to offer you great hybrid work from home arrangements, trips across the globe, a great central London working location and team environment, tons of opportunities for you improve your skills and progress, extra personal days off on top of holidays, a fantastic pension package and more (I could go on but I'm running out of characters here!).

Currently looking to bring a number of new individuals into the business due to new expansion plans and successes, Lorien's central London client is looking to recruit Developers / Software Engineers from Open Source backgrounds to tackle a wave of new and exciting projects and improvements to their range of customer-focused web solutions (that you or I will use plenty of times over the course of our lives).

This is a highly creative, tech-first company where you'll get to grips with enhancing existing offerings, and deliver great greenfield projects as part of a passionate and much appreciated development function with a great track record of upskilling its staff, and giving anyone ambitious enough the opportunities to grow, learn new skills and languages, and enjoy a varied workload.

So what do they want from you? Bear in mind they're very flexible on this and want to hear from Open Source Developers with a passion for learning, so don't be afraid to!

  • A solid understanding of web apps and how they work for customers
  • Front End skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc. and ideally previous exposure to Micro Front-Ends, React / similar framework, and maybe some GraphQL/Apollo)
  • Ambition and ability to learn new skills and be a key evolving member of a fast-moving Agile function

So if that sounds good to you, apply now with your latest CV, and let's chat about this great opportunity!
