IT Service Transition Manager - Edinburgh

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, i.e. you are a salaried member of staff for a 12 month period.

As the IT Service Transition Manager you will have the primary responsibility for the creation of a successful service delivery function. This includes the service design, security plan, environment management and decommissioning activity.

You will be responsible for defining the strategy for the IT service operations

• creation of a new service design
• creation and management of an environment management plan.
• procurement of technology services
• IT service improvement opportunities
• Active engagement with suppliers

You will have

• Extensive direct work experience establishing and operating an ITIL compliant service, supporting significant end-user communities and mission critical systems
• Demonstrated experience in the management of a technical support team.
• Demonstrated experience in IT supplier management
• Technically proficient in all aspects of IT security and Disaster Recovery
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
