2nd Line Support Engineer - £28,000 - Manchester City Centre

Lorien are working in partnership with one of Manchester's finest Managed Service Providers. Based in the city centre and after a successful period over the last 6 months they're looking to grow the team, by adding a 2nd Line Support Engineer.

Your role is to be a highly competent engineer who can take queries in from multiple clients and successfully resolve issues with your skills and expertise. In this role you'll have autonomy to effectively manage your own workload.

A huge focus for my client, is the development and progression of their staff. You'll get a personal training budget and learning groups to allow for your professional development.

To be a success you must have a blend of the following skills and experience:

  • Managing and supporting Windows Server (2008-2019)
  • Familiar with virtualisation technologies (VMWare/Hyper-V)
  • Administering and supporting Office 365, user and license admin
  • Solid understanding of networking protocol (Routers/Switches/Firewalls)

The salary is up to £28,000 + bonus.
