Senior R&D Engineering Manager - Permanent

A leading business in their field have a new opportunity within their Research & Development Department. Reporting to the Product Development Director you will be responsible for the management & technical delivery of major development projects, providing technical oversight and leadership across both internal and external development groups. This is a dynamic business who develop and produce state of the art medical devices.

You must have a strong engineering background, with a track record in technical leadership in complex systems engineering, electronics experience and the ability to deliver effective technical solutions across multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of new products.

You should ideally have a track record in managing medical devices design and development projects. You must be able to work to ISO 13485 standards or to the relevant regulations.

This is a senior position so you must be an excellent communicator, have the ability to work and engage with people at all levels, commercially astute, comfortable conveying complex project information to technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
