People Strategy Manager - 12 Months FTC

As a manager in the People Strategy team within the People and Culture community, you'll be helping to re imagine the future of work, shaping the strategy with innovative thinking and thought leadership, ensuring that we have a future of work strategy that is future proof and fit for purpose.

This secondment is within the People and Culture community, which is responsible for supporting our people and ensuring we create a culture and environment to enable the Society's objectives of building a stronger, kinder and greener society, nationwide.

In this role, within the People Strategy team, you'll be helping to re imagine the future of work and shape our strategy and experiences with innovative thinking and thought leadership, ensuring that we have a future of work strategy that is distinctive, future proof and fit for purpose.

Your success isn't based on how long you spend at your desk. You'll have contracted hours, but we're always happy to support flexible working wherever we can. That might mean working from home or different Nationwide offices or agreeing a working pattern to help you balance work and life. We will always strive to find a way that works for everyone.

If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.

What you'll be doing

You will work as part of the innovative and forward-thinking People Strategy team, helping develop and continually refine our future of work strategy.

Sitting within the Strategy and Experience practice, you'll build relationships with organisation-wide stakeholders to understand their emerging needs, and collaborate across P&C to support the design of each of our Future of Work priorities.

In addition, using internal and external trends, research, and best practice, you'll always be looking ahead to identify the next big questions that need to be considered in order to continually shape the future of our strategy.

We work within a matrix/mission model in the People Strategy team, so although we sit in practices which have specific areas of expertise and focus, there will be opportunities to collaborate on a range of projects across the team to meet shared objectives.
