Lorien are working closely with a multinational IT consultancy who are currently look for a IT Support Technician to join their Edinburgh based team on a initial 3 month contract basis.
You will provide expert support to internal customers, assisting them with software, hardware, network and communication issues. This position is the first point of contact for end users and will be responsible for ensuring resolution of enquiries whether this be personally or by passing them on to the appropriate team. You will be supporting up to around 300 users across the UK and USA and be working 12pm - 8pm. This will either be from the office or remotely from home and you will be provided with the relevant kit to perform your role from home if necessary. IVs will be held via video conferencing in the first instance.
You will have previously worked in an IT helpdesk environment providing 1st line support for Apple Mac devices (MacOS) as well as MDM for iOS and Android. Google G Suite knowledge is essential along with exposure to AWS or Azure. Proficiency in Active Directory and Atlassian Suite would also be massively beneficial.
