Business Media Manager

Please note that the successful applicant will have to operate via an Umbrella Company or as a PAYE contractor

As one of Vodafone strategic partners we are currently recruiting a Business Media Manager, to be based in either London or Newbury. The manager will own the planning, delivery and optimisation of media for the Vodafone Business in all media.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Media planning and buying of all business campaigns, aligned to Business brand strategy and commercial objectives
  • Segment owner - specialist knowledge of media consumption and customer journeys for business audiences
  • Campaign performance -articulation of performance metrics & ownership of media effectiveness and return on ad spend
  • Strategic development of media channels and strategic partners for Business media
  • Media activation of PR, Business events, sponsorship and partnerships for the purposes of driving awareness, engagement, attendance or wider brand metrics

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Understands and previously managed multi-channel media planning
  • Experience and understanding of business marketing
  • Experience in commissioning and managing media partnerships, ideally which include events
  • Digital media - specialist knowledge planning search, social and display platforms
  • Influencer - able to work in matrix organisation, where stakeholder management is key to success

Background

  • Experience of managing media in a large organisation or for a large client within an agency environment ("Account Director or Planning Director")
  • Management of budgets of +£3m
