Infrastructure Technical Engineer
I'm on the hunt for a Infrastructure Technical Engineer who has experience working in Datacentres to work with a worldwide retail brand based in Leeds city centre. Working in a large user capacity you will be supporting systems on a 3rd line level from VMware, Windows, Cloud to Storage and McAfee.
The team provides wide area or support to complex issues. You will ensure the availability, performance and integrity of the IT systems by proactively planning for changes and capacity as well as proactively addressing system incidents and problems. You will also collaborate with the helpdesk and other support teams to identify, prioritise, and resolve incidents Resolve incidents within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and to the high quality that a retail business demandsLiaise with software and hardware support vendors to resolve incidents and to follow up with proactive measures to prevent recurrence across all regional technologies
You will have technical knowledge/expertise in data centres and hardware's such as VMWare, Operating Systems (Windows up to 2016, etc.), Cloud services (such as AWS/Azure), office 365 and Exchange, DNS and administration tasks on Active directory
You may have experience supporting Linux, SQL and McAfee EPO
