Process Improvement and Governance Manager - DevOps

This is an exciting new role to govern the Devops environment on a permanent basis. The DevOps Process and Governance /Specialist Manager will be required to own the planning, process and reporting process for capital investment to maximise the success of DevOps. Also to create, own and evolve DevOps lifecycles, methodologies and best practices relating to platform delivery and provide the greatest possible delivery certainty and value to the business and also to engage with suppliers to manage and improve the Application Lifecycle Process.

The Process Improvement Specialist well need to have come from a manufacturing or logistics environment to understand this complex process environment. This is a large environment and therefore a lot of weight is around major performance and cost efficiency plans. Though this is more of a business role your engagement will be with IT Project Managers, Business Analyst and test management teams. The improvement Specialist will also apply six sigma techniques to the applications therefore it's highly advantageous to have some form of lean /Six Sigma qualification to support your application.

Other experiences will include:

  • Excellent influencing, communication, facilitation and stakeholder management
  • Application Lifecycle Management design and implementation
  • Continuous Improvement skills in lean / six sigma Black or Green belts
  • Agile Project Management
  • Knowledge of ALM / SDLC tools
