IT Infrastructure Project Manager | 6 Months | London

We are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join one of our clients in London or Ipswich for a 6 month contract.

As IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be working predominantly within Agile frameworks, and you must be able to liaise with key stakeholders and the delivery team, ensuring all requirements are well understood, captured, and agreed. You need to have a substantial IT Infrastructure Project Management background, with experience of compliance and control focused projects.

Experience Required:

Our client is looking for someone with strong Senior Project Management experience, with an IT Infrastructure background.

You will need to have proven experience of Agile project delivery and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders to report on progress against agreed deliverables and to highlight / escalate any issues or barriers to delivery.

You will need experience working with compliance and control focused projects (i.e. SOX).

The ability to work both independently without close supervision, and collaboratively, and to make key decisions in support of applicable work-streams, while adhering to Group and programme strategy and objectives.

Desirable Experience:

Financial Services Industry experience is desirable for this hold, and would be a great advantage to have. However, an ability to rapidly become effective in new domains / disciplines is needed.

Ideally experience of delivering projects using various Agile methodologies such as Scrum, KanBan, and ScrumBan.

You should have experience of working with clients, 3rd parties and customer relationships, as well as being an influencer who is both process and content driven with excellent attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.

You will also have excellent communication skills and experience of liaising with people at all levels and championing new ideas.
