Scrum MasterLondon10 Month Contract

Job Summary/Description:

Our Technical Operations team are looking for an experienced IT scrum master to help set up and run two agile teams who will be tasked with defining and creating a comprehensive metrics dashboard for executive level consumption, covering security, cost optimisation, governance and operational resilience in a large AWS cloud environment.

The role will include capturing and prioritising business and operational requirements from VP level product owners and ensuring that these are translated into a set of technical requirements which can be developed into a suite of easily consumed metrics.

Requires day to day running of the full agile process through definition, prioritisation, development, visualisation, QA and RTP whilst working within a broader program and steerco structure and ensuring stakeholder requirements are being met.

Minimum Required Skills:

Strong, confident personality who can operate in a complex and dynamic corporate environment and who can balance the requirements of multiple senior stakeholders with varying objectives and timelines.

Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. Ability to coach team in how to follow agile scrum, to promote productivity. Understanding the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development. A strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices. Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like: Kanban, Crystal, FDD, XP etc. Knowledge of methodologies other than Agile-Scrum. Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand the team's needs. Knowledge about Agile techniques such as user stories, epics, continuous integration etc.

Understanding of, or previous experience of working within an AWS cloud environment would be an advantage, particularly related to cloud security, cloud governance or cloud cost management.

Advantage to have working knowledge of data engineering concepts and / or previous experience of managing data ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) projects

Should have strong skills in critical communication, documentation, Agile management, and source control systems, with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket), Git, Excel, Slack and Powerpoint being a plus.
